Isaia Surmai is a software engineer with a strong focus on Swift and iOS development. With more than seven years of practical experience, he has worked on a variety of mobile applications ranging from small utility tools to larger-scale projects.

Throughout his career, Isaia has specialized in writing clean, maintainable code and building well-structured applications. He has spent considerable time working with different aspects of the Swift language — from foundational concepts to more advanced patterns used in modern iOS development. His approach emphasizes clarity, logical structure, and practical problem-solving.

Before focusing on educational materials, Isaia worked as part of development teams where he was responsible for implementing core features, improving code quality, and helping junior developers grow. These experiences gave him a clear understanding of the common challenges developers face when learning Swift — especially when moving from basic syntax to real-world application architecture.

In December 2025, Isaia created the Swixor course collections to organize and share the knowledge he had gained over the years. He noticed that many learners struggled with finding structured, step-by-step materials that connect different Swift concepts in a logical way. This insight became the foundation for the courses — designed to help students build skills gradually and confidently.

Isaia continues to work on real Swift projects while regularly updating the course materials. He believes that the best way to teach programming is through clear explanations, practical examples, and a well-organized learning path that respects the learner’s pace.

When he is not coding or creating educational content, Isaia enjoys exploring new developments in the Swift language and experimenting with different approaches to solve common development problems.
